We'll try an expecial and typical mango ice cream with salt and lemon wich one is including in the tour, and inside my Grandmother's home I will explain you everything about the painful past of la Comuna 13, and our personal histories like locals of la Comuna 13 as well. Then we will take the escalators that leads to the top of the mountain, and I will show you an amazing viewpoint to see all Medellin City, (here we will try more local food). Then we'll go to Independencia 2 to see more about the second part of the history, explaining about the biggest urban mass grave in a all the world, Present and Transformation of the Comuna 13 as well. After we will go back to the meeting point to do the end of the tour.

We will pick you up at your place. You will paragliding over the city of Medellin and you will be able to witness the majesty of the city from above. You will fly with a certified instructor who will show you the best landscape and will leave you jaw-dropping. It will be a 15 minutes flight. Take part of this amazing experience. When you come we will start at a beautiful home-museum from the 18 century where I will tell you why this Hacienda has been so important in this community for the past 170 years. Then I will take you in to the nature through the coffee plantation and explain what makes Colombian Coffee so special where you will plant your own coffee tree. I will show you from scratch how to do it and as well how to harvest. Experience birdwatching while we walk along the coffee plantation with amazing views of the city and the mountains. Adventure Awaits! 8:00 AM Meet up is bright & early at the pickup location. Song requests are encouraged as we wind through the mountains. Next, we’ll gather energy with a buffet breakfast at the magical Casa Colombia in Marinilla–we know this hidden gem will charm you with its ambiance, and great photo opportunities! We’ll then head to the famous Replica, a time capsule image of the old town square, where you’ll get to hear some of the history. We allocated free time for you to take in the views of the colonial architecture, the beautiful dam below, and to venture through the many shops the area offers. We’ll then take a boat ride along the hydrodam, complete with all-around views of properties until we make it to a private island where you can swim and take part of other activities! After the boat ride, we’ll have a typical Colombian lunch in the pueblo of Guatape, and then we’ll show you around the most colorful town in all of Colombia. You will have time to wander around its cobblestone streets so you can discover its magic first-hand! Finally, we’ll end the day with the best stop, the rock of Guatape! La Piedra del Peñon!
