Nijmegen is blessed with 3-4 excellent breweries along the historical River Waal/Rhein and it just so happens to be within walking distance of a number of excellent fishing spots where anglers can hope to catch, Zander, Pike, Perch and if very luck monster Wells Catfish. We will meet right in the centre of Nijmegen very close to the river and cruise boat moorings where we will meet for our first tasting of the day. You will learn about the brewery, some history about the city and discuss the optimum route that day given the conditions. Once you have finished your drinks we will try our luck at the first fishing spot. All tackle, rods lures, bait, will be provided all you need to bring is suitable outdoor gear to cope with the ever changing Dutch weather. We will then fish for an hour targeting Zander, Pike and Perch. After hopefully a successful hours fishing we will move on to our next brewery, where you will get to sample more wonderful beers and local delicacies. Lunch can either be purchased at the brewery or consumed by the river while fishing. We will then head back out onto the river to fish another stretch. Clients will be able to try their hand at fly fishing for Pike and Zander and experience the rush of hauling in these top predators on light gear. Our final stop will either be a secret boat bar or 3rd brewery where we can discuss the one that got away over a pint. Other things to note You will not be getting in the river so no need for boots or waders. Just bring warm clothes and a jacket. We can be flexible with timings so if the wether looks really bad we can spend more time in the breweries. Chairs wont be provided as we will be moving around however they can be requested

Meeting point is on the Julianabrug, Zaandijk. On the bridge we have a spectacular view on the windmills of the Zaanse Schans. The duration of the tour is two hours. Do you prefer another meeting point, for example Amsterdam Central Station, or train station Zaandijk-Zaanse Schans, or another meeting time please contact me. I will show you the houses in beautiful Zaans green and you can take a look at the first store of Albert Heijn (1887). First we walk to the clog maker. You will see a demonstration making clogs/wooden shoes . Then we go to the cheese factory where a demonstration and explanation is given, and of course we are going to taste cheese. Last but not least we will walk to the windmills and it is possible to visit "De Kat" paint mill, for example. If you want to visit another windmill, this is also possible. We'll start at the meadow and take the horses from their pasture. We will saddle them, if you cannot, I can help you. We will make a ride of one hour but the whole experience will take an hour and a half at least. through the forest, we will have a great chance to see the deers, because when we are riding, the deers do not smell the humans, because the smell of horses is dominant and the deers know the horses for grazing in the same meadows. It will be neccecary to have some experience with horsebackriding, from 12 years and up you can enjoy these wonderful horses. We have also have a chance to see ( the traces of ) roe deers, badgers, squirrels etc. The paths in the forest are sandy, perfect for the horses. I will adapt this trip to your experience. This experience is only for 1 person. If you are a family, the others can make a nice walk in the forest and also have fun. We could make an appointment to see each other at a picknick-table for instance. In the schedule I could not indicate that you can come at whatever time you like.
