Since there is so much time involved in producing a loaf, I'll be moving along with the steps as quickly as we can and spending most of the time between processes answering questions and explaining the why behind the techniques. classes typically last between 3-4 hours so light refreshments will be served throughout the class. Then we will use those espresso coffees to make cappuccinos and also learn latte art techniques. Coffee roasting and tasting class: learn and see what is involved in the art of coffee roasting. I will provide a demonstration for guests by using a commercial-grade machine at a professional coffee roasting studio/lab. Guests will be able to participate on a hands-on level. I will show all the necessary and important steps throughout the coffee roasting process. Afterwards we will all taste the coffees together, try different methods of brewing, and more! This is a great activity for coffee lovers and everyone in between. It allows for unique interactions, conversations, new ideas, and the opportunity to learn so much that wasn't known or experienced before. Travel back in Time to your own private vintage arcade! It's the golden era of the 1980's and you will be fully immersed in the original arcade experience. Coffee brewing class - Learn how to create an excellent coffee recipe! We will go through the basics of creating a coffee recipe for your at-home, office, or professional setting. We start from scratch and slowly build up to a final recipe by using different techniques, skills, and brewing parameters. In this class we will use manual brewing devices such as the famous cone drippers like Hario V-60 or the Chemex. But we are also able to use the Aero Press, French press, or Kalita Wave. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on and interactive coffee lesson. We will be trying different coffees all along the session, so be prepared for an amazing coffee tasting experience!

Lancaster, PA is a certified welcome city for immigrants and refugees. On this amazing walking tour, you will eat some of the best food in downtown Lancaster. You will meet your host in downtown Lancaster. After a brief introduction, you will explore the city tasting a variety of foods at six different locations. Create a one of a kind dessert inspired candle. With over 150 design options, our candle-making class is unique because we create candles that look and smell like edible foods! Guests will be shown different varieties of wax toppings that we make in our facility and receive guidance in creating their design. On this tour, we’ll explore Independence National Historical Park and the Old City neighborhood to see a plethora of historical landmarks! Along the way, your guide will keep you posted on the history of these sites and fill you in on all kinds of useful info for your visit to Philly. We’ll see Carpenters Hall, where the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania was founded. Next, we’ll head to the Museum of American Revolution, which offers an incredible look at the stories, artifacts, and people that shaped the American Revolution. We’ll go inside to see a presentation of George Washington’s War Tent ( when your tour is over, you’ll be able to get a discounted ticket to see the rest of the museum). As we walk through Old City, we’ll also pass by some favorite sites such as Elfreth’s Alley (the oldest continuously-occupied residential street in the entire US), showcasing incredible architecture dating back to the early 1700s, the Betsy Ross House, named after a famous seamstress and flag maker who is said to have sewn the first ever American flag, Benjamin Franklin’s Grave (bring a penny to toss!), and the outdoor President’s House Landmark where Washington and Adams lived.

First we will bike through the streets of the Financial and Cultural district, explore the Strip District and then check out the North Shore on its scenic river trails. We will dive into the history of Pittsburgh, tracking down the people who shaped this city to what it is today: a beauty. This experience captures a piece of the Philly culture and is lined up so that every stop is a hop and skip away from the next. With this tour we skip every line and pay no covers. It’s 4- 5 (dependent on group size) of our favorite bars with a secret bar or speakeasy along the tour; That even people that live in the city don’t know about. We will have a few drinks at each stop ranging between $9-$18 cocktails and makes some friends along the way. We look forward to having a great time with you. Cow Cuddling Therapy - Guests will meet and actively interact with docile, loving and affectionate rescue brown swiss cows, oxen and calves. Guests arrive to our Working Farm & Sanctuary, and are given an educational and fun tour by tractor or foot of the 350 acres, where they will be introduced to how humans, cows, the land and nature co-exist harmoniously. After the tour, guests are escorted to our newly constructed cow barn to lay in the comfortable straw with each of the cows as they rest and ruminate. This close contact and touch relieves stress and uplifts the spirit of the cow cuddler. This therapy is known as Koe Knuffelen and is extremely supportive of improved mental health. The experience concludes with a delicious plant-based / vegan meal prepared by the Sanctuary's Culinary Center from produce raised organically on the very same land and/or sourced locally from other farmers. Let's start our morning at Philly's Temple to the People, City Hall, from which we will move to Reading Terminal Market, where we will get a deeper understanding of "What Philadelphians eat" by sampling and eating our way through cultures and countries. After eating some amazing food at Reading Terminal, we will catch a train West to one of Philly's historic Farmer's Markets to see and sample what's in season. Along the way, we will pop into a few restaurants and eateries for quick, "grab & go bites." From the farmers market, we will take a slow stroll through one of my favorite neighborhoods and experience samples of fine cheeses, see where great breads and pastries are made, and snack on one of my favorite places to get a really good slice of pizza, with a side of gelato, of course! Continuing our tour, we will head, to Chinatown to see and sample some great markets, restaurants, and grab some tea! This tour is best enjoyed as part of a duo, perhaps even a team, as you will want to sample everything. The freedom to grab what you want to eat and say no to what you don't is a key part of this experience, so eat to your heart's content, knowing you will burn any excess calories off on our journey.

Awaken your senses on a 90-minute guided hike in scenic Buttermilk Falls State Park. Join local forager & ecologist, Sarah Kelsen, for a hands-on adventure where you'll learn to identify a variety of wild & native Northeastern plants, while observing & maintaining the diverse forest ecology. Sink into the present & soak up the outdoors! Hikes depart from and return to Firelight Camps in Ithaca, NY. We will meet at the Firelight Lobby Tent, downhill from LaTourelle Hotel. A private and quiet backyard setback from local roads with over 100' of fishing area. Multiple ways to fish with lures and live bait on a dock or under the trees and along trees and logs brought down by the local beaver. Birdwatching also a plus while you fish such as the bald eagle, red tail hawks, and the great horned owl can make appearances throughout the day along with flickers, woodpeckers, and blue herons. This experience can be done on your own or I can show you simple fishing techniques for the different areas and how to listen and watch for a bird of prey in the area. 8:30-10:30pm there is a wall of fireflies in the woods from the top of the trees to the ground. A different experience but something out of a movie and one of the best experiences here at the lake.
