Customers will be taken on a three-hour food tour, where they’ll pass by five local and unique places while they discover the city through its cuisine. The customers will discover Rotterdam through their tastebuds. I want to search for dishes which symbolize the city and then go to places where they do this at it's best. During the tour I'll tell about Rotterdam and it's history (and the history of the food), but we will also pass by the local chefs who can tell a lot about the city and her dishes as well. The tour includes: - 8-9 tastings, with optional drinks. - A food and travel loving tour guide. - A personal e-mail before and after the tour with food and travel tips about the Netherlands.

Want to learn how to make your own delicious edibles? At Get Baked Amsterdam we pride ourselves on offering a unique once in a lifetime high quality experience. We'll be meeting you at the local dispensary that we are cooperating with. Here we will buy the special ingredient together as a group. After, we will walk back to our workspace where the experience will start. We will be teaching you how to make delicious brownies (9 pieces per pair) and gummy’s, step by step. Meanwhile, we would love to educate you on the Netherlands in general, such as it’s history, culture and customs. As well as telling the story about its extraordinary relationship with cannabis. We find it of paramount importance to facilitate a safe, welcoming, and trustworthy environment for everyone who wants to participate. Even if you just would want to observe, and instead learn how to make normal brownies and gummies from scratch, you are very welcome to join. We cater to vegan and gluten-free dietary wishes but only with a minimum of 2 people since the baking takes place in pairs. These options are only for the brownies; gummies include gelatine. This shoot is NOT in Amsterdam! It's in the cute city of Leiden, which I sometimes call "small Amsterdam". With similar houses at the canals and cute little streets, it looks a lot like Amsterdam but more local & less crowdy. We will do a photoshoot at the most beautiful places in the city. The Castle, Pieterskerk, cute streets and beautiful spots along the canals. TIME IS NEGOTIABLE! In summer, sunrise & sunset are the best times. Is it raining? Then we can reschedule or use umbrella's and dance in the rain ;) (No last minute cancellation due to rain) A shoot includes 25 edited photo's, you can pick your own favorites. Suitable for those who have never done a shoot before. Since I have a lot of experience in front of the camera, I can also help you with poses :) I am a local, I grew up in this city, so I know all the nice places. I travel a lot myself, as a digital nomad. So, I like to show people my city when I am in the country! Wear clothes you feel comfortable in. If you don't feel comfortable, it will show in the photos. In the bike tour you will see all the famous Rotterdam Highlights, but also visit real hidden treasures you otherwise wouldn't find. A personable and fun insider guide will lead you safely through the city. It's an exploration on a relaxed pace. During the bike tour you will get insider tips and hear many great stories. Begin your walking exploration of Rotterdam's highlights when you meet your guide under the clock at the modern Central Station at 10 AM. Then head to the city center, passing post-war reconstruction monuments such as the shopping area, Lijnbaan. Stop for a photo of the Timmerhuis building, rising like a cloud of glass and steel above the city. Hear about Rotterdam's history from your guide, an expert on architecture and art history. Explore landmarks such as the pre-World War II Laurens church, Rotterdam's Cube Houses, and the modern Markthal building, famous for its ceiling artwork. Relax over a snack at the indoor market before continuing your walk. I am glad you found me! I am from the outskirts of Rotterdam, I know the cool spots and the stunning backdrops. If you have any questions about the history of Rotterdam please ask! My grandparents fled the city from the bombings during WW2. My parents grew up in an empty city. Now the city is booming with a lot of creatives and start-ups. I will take you on a walk along the striking architecture of Rotterdam. We will start at the eye-catching Depot of Boijmans-van Beuningen Museum. Then through the park towards Veerhaven, a lovely small harbor with a very photogenic view across the water for the perfect Rotterdam skyline shot. From here we will hop on the water taxi (a unique and fun experience to see Rotterdam!) to Kop van Zuid, a district of modern and old monumental architecture. From Hotel New York (old) to De Rotterdam (new). Here we will end the tour. If you like to do the Kinderdijk photoshoot we will meet there. In this crash course you get to know Rotterdam well enough to find your way in and around the centre and talk about its history and architecture as if you've been living there. Starting at the Central Station, where you will find me with a bicycle for both of you, you'll be taken on a two-and-a-half hour tour passed all sorts of highlights and hotspots. Its intimate setting allows the tour to go far and its topics deep. To have the most fun in Rotterdam one needs to know where to look. Therefore starting your stay in our town with this cycling tour gives you an advantage later on. In the beginning of this unique workshop, I will welcome you to my beautiful and cozy leather workplace. With a coffee/tea in your hand, I will explain to you the steps that we will go through in the workshop. I will also show you the tools and materials that you will be using during the making process. You will have the opportunity to choose the (genuine) leather piece that you like from my little “leather market”, with a wide range of colors and various thicknesses. When you chose your piece, we will work together step by step, where I will always keep an eye on your project and help you when needed, to assure that the bag making is done professionally. At the end of the workshop you will have the opportunity to personalize your piece by different engraving options, how special is that! This unique workshop gives you the chance to learn the basics of leathercrafting in a very accessible and fun manner/environment. And the most amazing part: you will take your own, handmade leather bag home! PLEASE NOTE: - This course can take up to 3,5 hours, depending on the group size. - If the timetable doesn’t work for you, message me and we’ll come up with something that does. - It's possible to add a zipper, extra pocket, extra sturdy handles etc. for an additional cost. Winter, spring, summer or fall. Delft surprises you all year round! The city walks of Do DELFT are informative, sometimes practical. But always relaxed and welcoming. We stroll through the streets, along the canals and royal squares. Wondering why the tower of the Old Church is so lopsided? Want to know why the Delft pottery is blue? And which royal highnesses are in the Royal vault? The guides of Do DELFT know and ofcourse they will tell you! The tour ends after 90 minutes. It will be your best introduction to the city! On request, you can conclude the walk with a visit to the New Church, the main attraction of Delft. Our guide explains in the church and the entrance ticket is included. Extra costs are 9,00 euros per person. Other things to note - Some days before our walk, I will contact you to inform you about the latest details. - In the calendar you can see Dutch-language walks and English/German-language walks. Be careful which one you book. During the English/German-speaking walks I speak English, unless there are only German-speaking participants, then of course I speak German.

This experience will give you a glimpse of an Indian Kitchen. We will start with Indian Tea followed by Appetizes and Main Course Dishes. (1) WELCOME DRINK (30 Mins) We will start by making a cup of Indian Masala Tea together. We will have a nice conversation while enjoying our tea where we will brief you about the origins of the Appetizer and Main Course dishes we are about to prepare. (2) PREPARE AN APPETIZER with a TADKA of History (30 mins) After a refreshing cup of tea, we will move to make the appetizers/starters such as Indian Fritters/Chana Kebabs, etc. (3) PREPARE MAIN COURSE DISHES (60-75 mins) As soon as the appetizers are ready we will move to cook the main course which includes 2 dishes from the exotic list of North Indian curries like Kadhai Paneer, Shahi Paneer, Rajma Masala, Chole, Aloo Jeera, Dal Tadka and served with Rice, Chapati/Prathas (4) EAT TOGETHER. (30-45 mins) Obviously, we will enjoy the food together. Another thing to note that we are going to cook Indian Vegetarian food but not very spicy. We can also adjust the spices level and CUSTOMIZE the menu too.

HISTORY OF ROTTERDAM During this tour, my goal is to show you how Rotterdam’s unique history shaped the city. I will cover the history from roughly 1300 onward: from the birth and development of the city, to its destruction in 1940, and how Rotterdam rose from its ashes to become the intriguing city it is today. To enhance your understanding, I will bring along several (historic) maps and also touch upon Dutch history and culture in general. PRIVATE WALKING TOUR In 3 hours, we will traverse the city center by foot: from pre-war parts that survived the bombing, to reconstructed and newer areas. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a local or new to the city. This is a private tour, which allows me to cater exactly to your needs and prior knowledge of Rotterdam and the Netherlands. This tour is surprising, informative and inspiring. You will see the city from a different perspective and learn about the city of the future and the crucial role of rooftops. After this tour, you will forever realise how much more is possible with rooftops in general and with your own roof (if you have one...) Important to note: - Meeting time is 10 minutes in advance in front of the Tourist Info kiosk in the central hall. Please make sure you're on time, otherwise you might risk to miss the tour - Bring something to drink - This tour doesn't focus on the highest buildings and views, but the most interesting rooftops (use-wise). This walk is the best way to get to know Rotterdam in a day. The tour combines most of the highlights of the city and includes an exciting boat ride with the Water taxi. The guides are local architects. From the newly built Central Station, we will lead you through the city, following architectural iconic sites and guiding you through the daily life and history of the city. We follow a sort of timeline about its reconstruction and the traces of it’s erased past. On the riverside we will board the speedboat of the Watertaxi for a 2 min joyride to the South Bank, passing under the city landmark – the Erasmus bridge. Your guide will introduce you to the history and the future plans the former harbor area that’s now a must-see flourishing semi-island with high-end architecture and some of the best cafes and restaurants in the city.
